Hallway night lights that plug in
AUVON plug-in motion night lights, 4-pack
A popular hallway night light, but the title says plug-in, so it needs a wall outlet.2
L LOHAS LED L LOHAS plug-in motion night light, 2-pack
The title says plug into wall.7
DORESshop plug-in motion night light, 2-pack
The title says plug into wall.8
How many lights does a hallway need?
Lyridz's sensor reaches 10 to 16 ft, and most of the others reach 10 ft.1, 3, 4 A hallway longer than that may need a light at each end. A 2-pack covers two spots.
For a long hallway, EZVALO's page says its connected lights turn on together, so there are fewer dark gaps.3
Will battery lights be bright enough?
For walking at night, yes. Lyridz states 1 to 20 lumens and a warm 2700K color, which is a glow, not a work light.1 The other battery lights here do not state lumens at all.3–6
Lyridz works in the dark only, so it stays off in a bright hall.1 Guankai's AAA lights also work only in the dark.6
Plug-in or battery for a hallway?
Plug-in night lights are popular for hallways. AUVON, L LOHAS and DORESshop all say plug in or plug into wall in their titles.2, 7, 8 They need an outlet at the spot you want light.
A battery light goes anywhere along the wall. The cost is a charge now and then, or batteries for the AAA kind.
Do I need to charge them often?
Lyridz is rated up to 6 months in motion mode and charges in 3 hours by USB-C.1 WILLED is rated up to 2 months, MCGOR 7 to 45 days, and EZVALO up to 180 days.3–5
Each trigger keeps the light on about 20 seconds, so a hallway you cross all night uses a charge faster than the rated days.1, 4
